Mr. Klems

Cynthia Mu

My name is Cynthia Mu and I go to Northwest High school.

I interviewed Mr. Klems because he is my advisory teacher.

It is Mr. Klems first year teaching at Northwest High school.

I asked Mr. Klems why he wanted to be the soccer coach for Northwest girls, he said, “I have been playing soccer since I was five and grew with family who has also been playing soccer.” He also said that he wanted to share his passion for soccer.

I found out that Mr. Klems pet peeve is when students try to hide their phone in the most obvious way, he rather them just have it out normally.

Another thing I learned is that he chose to teach at Northwest because Dr. Jackson showed him around the school, and he thought it would be a good place to teach.

When I asked him what one of his favorite vacation place was, he said he likes visiting New Orleans because the food and the atmosphere is nice there.

For the last question, I asked if he is glad he is teaching at Northwest, and his response was a “yes.” He said, “it has been a ton of fun teaching students, and staff are welcoming.”

It has been a lot of fun since he got here. Interviewing Mr. Klems made me learn a lot about him. I think that Mr. Klems is a cool, nice, and awesome teacher who is unproblematic and really cares for his students’ education.
