Staff Spotlight: Mr. Narva
November 15, 2022
Hello, I am Ashley Lopez, and I chose to interview Mr. Narva.
I am interviewing Mr. Narva because he helped me by encouraging me to do my work to get my grades up. He is chill, cool, and overall nice. He’s been here at Northwest for 7 years and has been teaching for 7 years to. He’s a Creative Writing teacher.
First, I was wondering what he was planning on doing after he retires, so I asked him, and he said, “I’ll probably continue to write, open a recycling center coffee shop, and publish magazines where I show people’s work.” Next, I asked him about what he would do if he swapped genders and he said, “I would be happy ’cause maybe I will be shorter, and I would go into the Target womens’ section because I like the sweaters ’cause there super soft and comfy.” I thought this was the funniest response.
Then, he talked about his family life. He said, “They’re annoying. I love them, but they’re annoying, except for my mom, she’s a goddess.”
He doesn’t plan on traveling the world, just traveling in the U.S. Also, his favorite state that he traveled to was New York. He would want to hit up every large city in the U.S. The few states he has yet to visit are Huston TX, Chicago IL, Seattle WA, and Miami FL.
Last but not least I asked if anything life changing happed in his life if so what. He said, “Becoming an uncle was life changing for me because my brothers and sisters and I weren’t the kids in the family anymore, which is weird.” I can understand too, ever sense I’ve become an aunt. What I learned about Mr. Narva is that he likes sweaters from the Target womens’ section, he loves his mom a lot, he wants to travel in the U.S., and that he’s an awesome uncle.
Mr. Narva is a sweet cool and kind teacher.
