Staff Spotlight: Mr. Benedetto

On November 7th, I interviewed Mr. Benedetto about himself, because he is one of my favorite Teachers. He always has such a positive attitude. He is very kind and patient when you need help with any assignments.

He’s been at Northwest high school for 3 years, but he’s been teaching for 4 years.

I asked Mr. Benedetto what his family life is like, and I learned he has 4 siblings, he’s unmarried, and he has a cat named Anthem.

If he had any superpower ever, he told me “I would want to be able to slow down or speed up time without freezing it, it’s a science-y reason behind it.”

I then asked him, “Why did you choose to be a teacher?” He said, “I highly value education”.

If Mr. Benedetto was to be stuck in a dessert and could only keep 3 items, he would choose: a snowboard, a nylon parachute, and a plastic bucket (10g).

Lastly, I asked “If you had to choose a different career what would it be” he told me, “I would work for NASA, I want to go to space.”

It was interesting getting to know Mr. Benedetto. I want to thank Mr. Benedetto for letting me interview him.
